What do I offer?
I offer a unique & truly
special experience brought directly to your home or
holiday let.
I combine a personal chef hire service with fine dining restaurant quality cuisine, which is designed to be affordable, accessible & simple for you.
In my role of a private chef, I will take care of everything, such as purchasing the ingredients and preparing the dishes. Subsequently, I complete the plated service in your kitchen and I will tidy up the kitchen before leaving. This service allows you to entertain your friends or family, which has never been so simple and stress-free.

I can create a menu that is to meet the needs and requirements of specifications for your event.
Making a booking of a personal chef will bring the restaurant to you
Julian will prepare and cook for you in your own home or holiday let. Therefore, unlike in a restaurant where the chef/s cater for a large number of different groups of people, a personal chef is catering specifically for you, the customer who booked them, and your guests.

Julian catered a family wedding in the Lake District in May and I cannot recommend Julian and his catering staff enough.
The food was exquisite from the first canapé to the last bite of desert,
everything was perfect.

Julian did a fantastic job from start to finish! He came to our holiday let for a birthday dinner for my mum and it was wonderful. It was very easy to organise everything with him in advance, and on the day he and Liz set everything up with no fuss. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and all of us loved the experience. Liz and Julian calmly prepped and served everything and the atmosphere was brilliant.
It made my mum's birthday weekend very special and everyone commented on how professional Julian and Liz were and how much they had appreciated all that they did.
I would wholeheartedly recommend!

We hired Julian to cater for our intimate family wedding for 16 adults and 7 children recently and cannot fault our experience.
All our guests were blown away by the quality and high standard of food.
Not only were all dishes and canapés presented beautifully with such attention to detail, the food tasted phenomenal.
Even with a few fussy eaters in our party, Julian was only too happy to work with us on our menu choices to
ensure that everyone was catered for.
Julian was very professional and the service was excellent.
He made the time to chat with both myself and my partner along with a few of our guests to ensure that we had all enjoyed
our day-he even gave away a few recipe tips to guests wanting to know the secret to his delicious tartar sauce!
We were astounded by how easy Julian made everything, he set up in the kitchen in no time
and cleaned up just as fast once the food had all been served, leaving the kitchen absolutely sparkling as if untouched!
A special mention as well to the lovely catering assistants on Julian’s team who were so attentive
and couldn’t do enough to ensure that everyone had everything they needed throughout the afternoon.
We are so happy with how our day went and we will be talking about the food for a long time to come!

A sincere thank you to Julian and his team for preparing an excellent dinner to help me celebrate my
60th birthday at Cark Manor on 8th May. Every one of my guests thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and commented
on the outstanding food and service. I hope to use the services of the Cumbrian Chef again early next year.

Thank you and your wife for providing for us a truly memorable occasion on Saturday last.
The meal was everything we hoped for and more; your presentation, attention to detail, accommodating the various prefernces of the children and young adults was, for us, outstanding. Every aspect of the meal was perfect - we couldn’t have asked for more.
Many, many thanks for helping to make our Golden Wedding celebration weekend one we shall always treasure.
